Wonford & St Loyes

Wonford and St Loyes is primarily a residential area of Exeter, found between Barrack Road, Fore Street Heavitree/East Wonford Hill and Topsham Road. Ideally located for access to local shops, supermarkets, the RD+E Hospital, the GP surgery and the many amenities of Heavitree. It offers easy access to the M5 Motorway, Pynes Hill Business Park and the Met Office as well as benefiting from good access to Exeter City Centre. The area also benefits from proximity to Ludwell Valley Park for country walks and Wonford Sports Centre.

There is a variety of housing in Wonford and St Loyes, including terraces with period character, ex-council properties and a scattering of some older and more modern properties.  Wyvern Park is a prestigious modern development near to the hospital with a mixture of town houses, semi-detached and detached properties. Most streets around the hospital require parking permits, but those further away are permit free and many ex-local authority properties have their own driveways.
